WRC Call for Abstract

Deadline: February 19, 2013

Philippine Nurses Association of Central California (PNACC) is accepting abstract for the 2013 Western Regional Conference. Theme: “Believe in Caring: Sustaining Excellence in Healthcare through Strategic and Synergistic Collaboration”

PNACC is seeking contribution relevant to the conference theme in the form of poster presentation. Additionally, abstract of evidence-based clinical projects, leadership initiatives, consensus building, and student transition to excellence in practice are invited.

Presenters selected will be notified on or around March 20, 2013. Presenters must agree to register for the conference.

TIME LINE:

February 19, 2013

  • Abstract of Presentation and final title of the presentation
  • Power Point slides
  • Speaker’s CV
  • Brief statement of how you wanted to be introduced (2 min. max)

All electronic documents must be in word format.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Presenters are requested to submit abstracts that reflect the theme of the conference and must be limited to a maximum of 25 minutes allotted.
  2. Presentations are expected to make significant contributions to the professional dialogue and development of the participants’ skills. (Knowledge and attitude)
  3. Presentations must cover the following curriculum tracks:
    1. Nursing Practice – Best Practice
    2. Education- Clinical competencies, web based learning, social media as training tools
    3. Research
    4. Leadership/Management
    5. Nursing Informatics
    6. Community Health / primary care/primary Health care /community based projects.
  4. If you are creating a panel, the interest and availability of all panelists must be confirmed in advance.
